Cancellation & Refund Policy

48 hours or more before your booking: 100% refund.
Between 24 and 48 hours before: 50% refund.
Less than 24 hours before: no refund.
Customer no-show: no refund.
If RENT A QUIET MAN cancels: 100% refund.
One complimentary rescheduling request with at least 24 hours' notice, subject to availability.
Customer lateness does not extend the scheduled booking.
If the service provider arrives late, the lost time is made up or proportionally refunded.

FAQ

Is this a dating service?: No. Every meeting is strictly platonic and takes place in public.
Who pays for food and activities?: You do. Meals, drinks, tickets, and transportation are not included in the hourly rate.
How do I pay?: After I confirm availability, I’ll send payment details to reserve your time. All prices are in USD.
Who pays for meals, drinks, and activity expenses?: Your booking fee covers my time and companionship. Customers are responsible for their own meals, drinks, tickets, and activity expenses, plus any agreed expenses necessary for my participation. If we dine together, you are not required to purchase a full meal for me. We can keep things simple, and I can enjoy a coffee, water, or another reasonable nonalcoholic refreshment. All additional expenses must be discussed and agreed upon before the booking. No surprise charges.
How does transportation work?: I will travel independently to our agreed-upon public meeting location. If our outing involves traveling to other locations, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for transportation, including Uber, taxis, or other agreed transportation services. Our outing will end back at the original meeting location unless we have agreed to another arrangement in advance. After the booking ends, I am responsible for my own transportation home.
Does travel time count toward my booking?: Yes. Your reserved time begins when we meet at the agreed location and includes any time spent traveling between activities, waiting, dining, or attending events. Travel time during the outing does not pause or extend the booked duration.
What if I don’t want to pay for additional activities?: That’s completely fine! We can choose activities that don’t require extra spending, such as walking, sitting by the waterfront, exploring public spaces, or simply enjoying a good conversation. The goal is meaningful human connection, not spending more money.
